Pandaw’s new itinerary in northeast India

Pandaw Cruises’ new eight-day itinerary on the Brahmaputra River in northeast India is now on sale, with the first cruise setting sail on 29 March.

Sailing aboard 46-passenger luxury river cruise ship, MV Mahabaahu, the itinerary starts in Guwahati and sails to the Assam province to Neamati Ghat.

During the cruise, Pandaw guests will meet the Mishing people and learn more about the area’s heritage of tea making.

There are also boat and jeep trips to visit exotic wildlife such as single horned rhinos, buffaloes, Indian tigers and river dolphins.

Brahmaptura River is the only river in the world from which the 6,5000 metre high Himalaya Mountains can be seen. It is also only one of two rivers in the world where elephant, jeep and boat safaris are available.

The cruise is priced from US$2,430 per person twin share for a main deck stateroom. The cost covers excursions, crew gratuities, meals, and transfers between ports of embarkation and the airport.

The offer is valid until 30 November 2014.
