Brunei is set for its busiest summer cruise season during 2014/15, with 15-ocean cruise ship visits during the coming summer season.
Lines calling on Bandar Seri Begawan (Muara) during the five month period from December to April include Princess, Costa Cruises, Silversea, Crystal, Regent Seven Seas, Hapag-Lloyd, Celebrity Cunard, Oceania, Azamara Cruises and Seabourn.
Princess Cruises’ Sapphire Princess will be the first ship to visit Brunei during her inaugural season in Southeast Asia.
The ship will arrive on 20 December during an 11-day round trip from Singapore.
Some 2,000 passengers will spend the day exploring the destination before re-boarding the ship for Nha Trang in Vietnam.
The ship will return for her second visit on 2 March.
Silversea will send both Silver Wind and Silver Whisperer to Brunei’s popular cruise port in January and February next year.
Silver Wind will arrive on 7 January during an 11-day cruise from Singapore to Bali, while Silver Whisperer will call in on Brunei on 17 February on her trip from Bali to Hong Kong.
Regent Seven Seas also have two visits in Brunei next year, with Seven Seas Voyager calling on Bandar Seri Begawan on 26 January and 5 April, while Pacific Princess will arrive on 28 February during her World Cruise from Los Angeles.
Other ships visiting this season include Costa Victoria (9 January); Crystal Symphony (12 January); ms Europa (3 February); Celebrity Century (25 February); Queen Mary 2 (25 February); Seabourn Sojourn (11 March); and Insignia (28 April).
