An all-star Latin dancing competition is coming to Singapore on a cruise ship.
Mariner of the Seas will be the first vessel to host a showdance event named ‘Dancesport All Champions on Mariner of the Seas’ during a special four-night cruise in January next year.
Organised by Singapore’s dance veteran, Aleena Tan, passengers onboard will receive performance previews in the ship’s Royal Promenade by the dance champions, including the Sunny Low family.
Dance lectures will be held throughout the cruise to educate enthusiasts on the art form by Asia’s renowned Sunny Low, Aleena Tan and Uapan Sdnivongs.
They will also judge the all-champions Latin Showcase, featuring Thailand’s Ekkarat Maneechot and Uraiwan; Italy’s Tony Lufrano and Sukunchaya; and Singapore’s Nicholas Low and Lorencia Kan.
Other highlights of the cruise include dance show previews by the Amateur Standard Champions from Russia, Mikhail Eremeeve and Olesya Eremeeva; and from Singapore, Jovyn and Cindy, and Terrence and Shanelle, the third and fourth generation champions of the Sunny Low family.
The cruise will depart from Singapore on 16 January for a four-night roundtrip to Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi.
