Chinese and Indian nationals residing in Australia can now visit Malaysia by applying for an eVisa from November 1.
The move is to encourage more Chinese and Indians living in Australia to holiday to Malaysia.
The eVisa is a single entry to visit Malaysia for a maximum stay of 30 days. Applications can be made three months in advance or a minimum of two weeks before the travel date for online applications. Approval will take 24 hours to process and applicants will be informed by email.
Malaysia introduced eVisa in January this year to lure more Mainland Chinese tourists to visit the country. The program has since been extended to Chinese and Indian nationals living in Australia. To find out more visit www.windowmalaysia.my
