Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas has begun her second winter/spring season after arriving in Singapore on Wednesday.
She will homeport at Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre until March 2015 and has started her season in the area with a five-night cruise to Penang, Langkawi and Phuket.
The 15 guest-deck ship accommodates for 3,800 guests and is the largest ship based in Asia.
She has lined up 29 sailings for the season comprising of some new and popular cruises around Kuala Lumpur, Kuantan, Penang, Langkawi and Phuket.
Mariner of the Seas will also be featuring longer cruises of seven nights including itineraries to Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh, and another to Penang, Langkawi and Phuket.
She will also be calling in to Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City and Xiamen and an overnight in Hong Kong.
Her new itineraries include a three-night cruise to Kuantan which will be the first for the line.
During the festive season, the line will be featuring special cruises for Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year with special entertainment, decorations and feasts on board.
During December, there will be Christmas caroling, the Christmas show, Santa meet ‘n’ greet with gifts and to bring in the New Year, a special countdown party.
