Royal Caribbean has revealed new details of its Quantum Ultra-class ship, Spectrum of the Seas, the latest ship for Asia.
Here are some details around this amazing ship which will be launched in 2019.
Ultimate Family Suite
Like the world’s largest ship, Symphony of the Seas, Asia’s newest ship will also have an Ultimate Family Suite to cater for the Asian market. On Spectrum of the Seas, the Ultimate Family Suite will be slightly wider along with a few more adjustments.
One main restaurant
According to Michael Bayley, the president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, there will only be one dining room onboard Spectrum of the Seas which will have a grand staircase. Royal Caribbean’s ships have four dining areas – Silk, American Icon, The Grande and Chic.
Bungee trampoline VR experience
Spectrum of the Seas will have a Sky Pad as well as a virtual reality bungee trampoline virtual reality experience added to Mariner of the Seas. The line will also be announcing a whole range of new activities as the launch date draws closer.
Quantum heads to Singapore
Spectrum of the Seas will be replacing Quantum of the Seas which is currently homeported in Shanghai. Quantum of the Seas will then be spending six-months in Tianjin and six-months in Singapore. Ovation of the Seas which also sails in Singapore, will be redeployed to Alaska in 2019.
