Pandaw headed to the Amazon


River expedition company Pandaw has announced it will be running river cruises in South America in 2016.

In partnership with Amazon Dream, Pandaw will offer five 14-night cruise-land packages exploring the Amazon River from Santarém, Brazil.

The itinerary on the 18-passengerAmazon Dream, which starts at US$4795 per person twin share, will include:

  • Three-night stay at the Sofitel on Rio’s Copacabana Beach, with included visits to Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountain.
  • Two-night stay at the iconic Hotel das Cataratas, Iguacu, with visits to the falls in both Brazil and Argentina.
  • Nine-night cruise on Amazon Dream in the company of expert local naturalist guides.

The price also includes domestic flights from Rio to Iguaco and Iguaco to Santarém, all transfers, shore excursions, entrance fees, port taxes and porterage.
