Princess Cruises has revealed brand new livery on its new cruise ship Majestic Princess.

The design of the new livery, which will be the first Princess ship built for the Chinese market, was revealed during the float out ceremony.

Princess’ logo, which will be painted across the bow of the ship, is to showcase the brand to the growing Chinese market.
The new hull artwork is designed to take Princess Cruises into a new era with a modern-sophisticated look.

“For nearly half a century our Princess logo has represented the adventure of cruise travel around the globe. Now our ships sail to more than 360 ports of call worldwide and will be instantly recognised from afar. As the first cruise ship built for China, we take great pride that Majestic Princess is our ship to proudly display our new livery design,” said Princess Cruises president Jan Swartz.

The new livery will be rolled out across the Princess fleet over the coming years.

The new ship also hit a major construction milestone at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy with a traditional coin ceremony to celebrate the float out.

As the first cruise ship built and designed specifically for the Chinese market, Majestic Princess will feature a number of new venues and experiences.

She will be homeported in Shanghai and accommodate 3,560 guests.
