Star Cruises’ SuperStar Gemini returns home to Malaysia

Genting Cruise Lines will deploy SuperStar Gemini to Malaysia from November 5, 2018 until April 28, 2019.

Star Cruises will offer a series of round-trip voyages from her homeports in the region – Port Klang, Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia, as well as Phuket in Thailand.

Ang Moo Lim, president of Star Cruises said: “Star Cruises is excited to be back home in Malaysia and to offer local and international guests a fresh, unique and exciting experience with another one of our cruise ships, SuperStar Gemini. With multiple homeports, including Port Klang, Penang, Langkawi and Phuket, we want to make it more convenient for more guests to join us.”

The options include the four day, three-night Phuket/Langkawi cruise and the four-day, three-night Phuket/Penang cruise.

Additionally, departing on February 6, 2019 is a special five-day, four-night Phuket/Krabi/Penang cruise and there is also a three-day, two-night Singapore cruise departing on February 10, 2019.

A four-day, three-night Port Klang/Phuket round-trip cruise itinerary from Penang that is also available on selected departure dates.

“Genting Cruise Lines has a long history in this part of Southeast Asia and we are excited to be making Malaysia SuperStar Gemini’s new home in November 2018 to carry on the legacy of SuperStar Libra which recently retired from active duty from the Star Cruises fleet,” said Kent Zhu, president of Genting Cruise Lines.
